I have taught reading for 7 years and have my Master’s as a Reading Specialist. These are skill based lesson plans, with instructions for the teacher and fun, interactive yet challenging activities for the student!

NOTE: I collaborated with FOUR first grade teachers while making these lessons. Two teachers used common core and two used TEKS. All four teachers gave tips and pointers on things to change and I changed those items to make them more useful for you and your students. These questions and lessons are meant to be done WITH the students though. Please know that the questions on the graphic organizers need to be read to the students.
